CONTESTANT RULES

All Contestants MUST Register for the Pride Country Voice Singing Competition either In-Person at Neon Boots OR on this page. All of the information in the fields below must be filled out completely. Contestants that would like to perform can be an individual or group.

Registration starts Saturday, May 27th at 12pm to Wednesday, June 7th until 8pm. All Contestants will be contacted and informed what days they will be performing for the competition. The Competition Schedule Dates are below. If you would like to compete on a particular day you can select that day from the drop-down menu on this registration form. We will do our best to accommodate your request as we schedule each person or group.

  1. Anyone can enter the Neon Boots Country Voice Competition as long as they are age 21 and older. Contestants can be individuals or groups.
  2. Each Contestant must Register prior to entering the Competition using the designed form provided and provide a clear photo headshot to be attached to the registration form future judging.
  3. Contestants can only select from the variety of songs in the Neon Boots database and can choose any song with some one exception. Songs that have explicit curse words cannot be selected for performance.
  4. All Contestants must compete on the designated Preliminary dates and times communicated. If a Contestant is selected for Semi-Finals and/or Finals, you must also compete on those dates and times as communicated. If any Contestant does not show up to perform after registering for competition on designated performance date, you will be disqualified from the competition. If Contestants are performing as a group and are selected for the Semi-Finals and/or Finals, all group performers must be present for each performance or may be disqualified from contest.
  5. All Cash Prizes will be awarded at the end of the Finals Competition judging. The Final 1st Place Winner will be required to perform at Neon Boots on Saturday, June 24th at Midnight the day of PRIDE or at another date and time as communicated. The Bar Tab Prize cannot be exchanged for actual cash.
  6. All decisions from the Judges are final and cannot be contested. Semi-Finals and Finals judging decisions will be provided to event coordinator for tallying then communicated to Emcee for announcement to the public at each performance.
